The Night My Voice Melted into Analog Synthesizers: Live at Klangstrom

Friday, October 17th, I had one of the most magical moments of my musical life. Performing live at Klangstromwith 59Perlen in Zurich was a dream come true, marking my very first full performance with a vocalist. What made it truly unique? My voice didn't just float over the sound; it was woven directly into 59Perlen's incredible analog setup, creating a harmonious and mesmerizing texture. If you were searching for Ingeborg and 59Perlen, you may have heard the buzz—this collaboration unlocked a new, dreamy soundscape.

The logistics were fascinating. To achieve that dreamy, textural sound, 59Perlen ran my voice directly through his rig using the Elta Music Selektor 8, which harmonized and balanced it for his loop textures on the Soma Cosmos. It felt like my voice was being played like an instrument, improvising over his analog synth sounds from the Elta Solar 42F and Golden Master. The resulting sound was deeply melodical and ambient.

This performance also featured a very special piece: 'Caribe'. Just a week prior, I wrote the lyrics for this track after being inspired by the incredible shoelace installation 59Perlen and Bernardo San Rafael created for the Meeresmuseum opening in Stralsund. Seeing that hanging art immediately sparked the words, and performing the song live that night felt like closing a full circle.

Did you catch the show? What was your favourite dreamy synth moment? Let me know in the comments!

That spontaneous, collaborative energy—the kind that turns a shoelace installation into a lyric and a synth rig into a vocal harmony tool—is exactly what my music is about. It's about finding melody and magic in the unexpected.

The 'Caribe' track, which began its journey in a museum installation and found its voice at Klangstrom, is now a cornerstone of my recent work. If you love that ethereal, ambient sound generated by the unique combination of the Soma Cosmos vocals and the analog warmth of the Elta gear, then you need to hear the recorded version and other pieces like it. My collaborations with 59Perlen and my solo work explore this dreamy, atmospheric territory, perfect for studying, relaxing, or simply drifting away.
